I do not like labeling groups. I believe that each person should be responsible for their actions and positions. I am suspicious of anyone who seeks to control or limit others by their actions and statements. Unfortunately very few actually follow this philosophy. Having said that I think that anyone who follows Fox News 24/7 will have a much different understanding of the truth than someone who listens to NPR. Personally I find NPR much more balanced.

The following links may use political labeling but the information is compelling so view the following with an awareness of the source but do not discard it out of hand. It is getting difficult to filter everything trying to find the truth and requires a lot of time.

My perspective is to stop using the term Critical Racial Theory and just concentrate on actual history. Let the chips fall where they may.

Who We Are

“This is not who we are.” We hear this over and over again but the instant commentary on all of the turmoil we are enduring is coming from international media not domestic. Why is US media not more aggressive on the obvious threats we face during the next week? There is a credible threat to prevent 25th amendment proceeding and plans to attack all 50 state capitols to disrupt swearing in Biden on the 20th. Federal authority is completely dysfunctional with a leadership vacuum. I truly fear for our democracy!!!!  SADLY THIS IS WHO WE ARE NOW

Adding to this travesty are the remaining Trump administration loyalists sowing poison pills in every way possible to damage the new administration. Look at the foreign policy moves now being made to escalate long-standing friction. Every minute during the next week is another opportunity for disaster. We should all celebrate those who are divorcing themselves from the current administration as patriots. Where is the mass republican renunciation of Trump??? I hope we survive the next 10 days.

The good news is that we can now clearly compare righteous patriotic acts like Bill Bilicheck refusing the medal of honor and businesses divorcing themselves from Trump while the continuing Trump cult is making excuses and posturing as victims, All of the politicians and pundits who publicly continue to support the stolen election lie after the riot should go down as seditionists along with Trump. Now we need the country to unite behind the patriots

Time to Blog

When I was working for Corporate Media American, I was looking for a talkradio show host who was also a blogger.  Fast forward 40 years later and I now own the Dialogue Internet Talk Radio Network and I have become that internet talk radio show host I was looking for.  If you go to you will hear talk radio that comes from a Mexican American/ Chicano point of view.  We have no nationally broadcast talk radio show to highlight our opinions.  We are just mixed in with the general market.  Well now we have the internet and live streaming to amplify voices and ideas.  Now that’s as American as a dream can get, Me being able to give voice.   So here we go and since this is the 2018 mid-term elections, Lets start that #VoterRevolution 2018 and get out the vote.  And I love to share art……….

For all those who thought “What have we got to lose” during the 2016 election. My question is; How’s that working out for ya?

My focus today is on the latest episode of The Apprentice regarding the State Department. While we can dismiss some disaffection from people losing their jobs I think it is important to listen to the significant number of career diplomats pointing out the deficiencies in our current diplomatic structure and remember that all wars have had a component of international misunderstanding caused by countries not communicating effectively. Ask people who lived through WWII as civilians, if you are fortunate enough to know one, to understand what the reality of war is even if you are not a military combatant.

While I know that many look askance at career government bureaucrats in some cases experience is vital. In the diplomatic service can anyone rationally prefer a resume with no experience?  Ask yourself if you are in a foreign country and need the support of the US Embassy would you prefer that the  ambassador not know anyone in that countries government or someone who has been there and has cultivated long term relationships in that government. So now which bureaucrat do you want? These relationships require detailed knowledge of the host country and many years of cultivating relationships.

Rex Tillerson had no diplomatic experience when he was appointed Secretary of State and apparently does not believe that experience in that department has any real value. A hiring freeze, early retirement incentives, and vacancies in important posts that have not gotten sufficient attention to receive a nomination are the current realities. There are also questions of racial and cultural purges. We are in very dangerous times and desperately need to have every possible advantage. Lack of a competent diplomat is not an advantage. Read the article at   The Hill  to learn what is happening then broaden your search if you want to learn the whole story.

I for one am sleeping less well at night since becoming aware of this crisis. Am I alone in this concern or are others worried?
