I have not seen anyone expressing this fact. It is true that a search warrant issued to search a former president’s home is unprecedented, but it was preceded by unprecedented, unlawful, actions of a former president never before seen in over 240 years.
Do not forget or dismiss all of the previous actions taken by the former president and his co-conspirators, trying to play cute with our laws and what was considered acceptable. Now we see Trump defenders saying how he is persecuted, when last week they were saying; see its all the congressional committee pursuing political goals and pointing to DOJ inaction as proof.
It is sad that it has come to this but that is the consequence of electing a bad actor president.
